Here is a summary and special note of 3.34.2: Corrosion Resistance- Temperature Cycling/High Humidity:
Requires 40 twelve-hour cycles with three hour soaks at each extreme. Ramping up from 4.4 to 32°C with 90-95%RH, between 32 to 60°C, a specific humidity of 0.024 kg of water per kg of dry air. During descending temperatures—32 to 4.4°C humidity should be held to 80-95%RH.
LAB COMPANION notes that maintaining humidity during temperature ramping is dependent on the test chamber, the way the cycle is programmed, and the
samples loaded. A special modification to the humidity system may be required. Please let us know if you are going to be doing this test.
